Raptivity Supports Voiceover:
New Release 4.7 also Allows Layout Customization |

Harbinger
Knowledge Products has announced the release of new version
4.7 of Raptivity, the award-winning eLearning software. The
new release includes sound recorder, in-depth support to voiceover
and advanced layout customization options among many other
features.
The sound recorder allows the users to record their own narration,
voice-overs and attach those to their interactions. Of course
they can also bring in pre-recorded voices, music or sound
effects. The sound recorder is available right inside Raptivity
and can be opened with just one click.
The in-depth voiceover functionality allows the interactivity
designers to attach voiceover at very pertinent places in
the interactions. For example, when the leaner flips the flash
card, they can attach some narration to play. Or when the
learner visits a particular page of the interactive eBook,
they can make the learner listen to sound related to that
page.
With this enhanced layout customization options in this release,
the interactivity designers get a greater control over the
look and feel of their interactions. They can now move the
objects like pictures and text and also resize them as per
the design.
Currently, the advanced
layout customization options and in-depth voiceover functionality
are available for all interactions in Raptivity Essential.
Very soon these features will be available for interactions
in other packs as well.

Learning Interactions According to Global Survey |

one slot on four areas of learning interaction design according
to a recent global survey by eLearning Guild, a member-driven
online information center and Community of Practice which
has more than 28,000 members. More than 1400 members submitted
responses in this survey titled ‘Rapid e-Learning Authoring
and Development Tools’.

reconfirmed its leadership in time to proficiency and complex
practice and assessment interaction building – areas
of crucial importance to eLearning developers. The survey
