Jeffrey Page is a Curriculum Coordinator for NCVPS. His responsibility is to assist in the process of new course development and course revision. In this role, he helps to develop high-quality, interactive content through learning objects. He is also responsible for understanding how the content fits in the parameter of the LMS (Learning Management System) and develop efficient ways for teachers to teach them and manage the workload.

Jeffrey brings a wealth of knowledge of teaching both online and in the classroom, having taught in public education for 10+ years. He always saw technology as a driver for student learning and integrated it into his classroom whenever possible. Jeffrey graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelors degree in Mathematics Education and went on to get a Master's degree from North Carolina A&T State University.

Anne is a graphic designer whose skills have enabled her to produce appealing learning objects and engaging online learning experiences. Through her collaboration with Caryl Oliver, and Raptivity, she has created a range of learning and training courses for clients as small as a hospitality college in India to industry giants like the Linfox Group in Australia.

Currently Anne is contracted to Achievement for All in the UK producing material that supports the charity in its work with vulnerable children. With its reach into 2000 schools, the task to transform their main programme from face-to-face training of school personnel to predominantly online learning is a challenge for them as well as for Anne!

With career stints in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors, Todd Kasenberg, Principal of Guiding Star Communications and Consulting, brings years of experience and expertise in group processes, adult learning, online learning and marketing communications to his clients. Todd first dipped his toes into the e-learning pond in 2005, and since has used some of the best available e-learning composing tools, including Raptivity, to delight a number of clients in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors. Todd’s work has reached and delighted thousands of online learners, in both formal and informal learning contexts. She helps clients as diverse as government agencies, non-profits, medium-sized businesses, and Fortune 500 corporations.

Desiree has served as a judge for the Brandon Hall awards and has spoken at national, online, regional, and local forums and conferences, and she led the team that received Best Mobile Solution at The eLearning Guild’s SolutionFest in both 2013 and 2014.

Caryl Oliver has been a leading voice in online and mobile learning for some 12 years and is a founding director of the International Association for Mobile Learning. Prior to that Caryl developed a series of technological developments for her own business including the first online accommodation inventory management system.

Caryl speaks regularly at conferences, seminars and workshop on using technology to deliver training and online learning at all levels. While a Director of Australia’s largest Tourism and Hospitality College, Caryl developed learning by means of handheld devices – then a first. She went on to introduce mobile learning throughout the vocational education sector. It was during this time that she first started working with Raptivity and embraced it as an engaging and valuable support for online and mobile learning.

Now based in the UK, Caryl is working with Achievement for All, a charity that assists schools to provide support for vulnerable children. Experienced in all phases of creating eLearning courses, I find authors (subject matter experts), apply instructional design principles to course content, improve courseware processes, train internal teams worldwide, troubleshoot, publish, and then engage in social media representing our brand. I work in HTML, XML, and create interactive learning content using flash/HTML5, and videos—even whiteboard.

To work at Thomson Reuters is to embrace innovation. We investigate experiment, collaborate, and continually roll out improvements and new products that delight our customers. Our efficiency represents cost savings, which are also passed along to our customers.

Our custom automated system moves our courses from inception to publication for our online courses. Each new course or update begins in a Word template, then is converted to XML, which is stored by all-chapters or by 1-chapter in Microsoft's Team foundation Server. By maintaining the content in XML, we then run over 100 tests to ensure that we meet critical, compliance, and editorial standards. Our click to reveal type of activities are tagged in the XML, then we develop and add more advanced interactivities as objects (both flash and HTML5). We also maintain a database of over 12,000 accounting definitions. The course information is stored in an online relational database, which is re-purposed to various marketing platforms, plus LMSs, etc. We support mobile, online, download, CD, 508 compliance, though not all on our website but for specific customers. We also support print with an online exam.

Monique has been in the learning technology field for over 20 years. Her past professional experiences have taken her from the rural classrooms in Southern Georgia, where she supported the use of technology in education by assisting teachers and students as they incorporated computer use into classroom learning; to college campus like Morehouse College where she helped to implement their online learning program.

Her international experience includes an international start-up company, MindScope Multimedia, which provided eLearning solutions by implementing distance learning initiatives in western Europe.

Her current focus has shifted to the corporate industry. Her most recent experience includes the roles of instructional designer and eLearning developer for companies in the cybersecurity and digital payments industries. A major focus throughout her career has been the use of multimedia in producing compelling, dynamic and engaging training tools.

Her most recent interests include the use of xAPI to integrate learning events into the workflow process and integrating the learning process and tools into the “Internet of Things”.
